Presentation Timing: We allow approximately 15 -20 minutes for each presentation(including Q&A).
Late Submission: If you missed a deadline, please email Staff@GlobalAcademicInstitute.com
Abstract-Only Publications: Authors often elect to publish only the abstract of their presentation in the conference proceedings. This effectively gives the author until the conference to complete the paper. This also means that the author is free to submit the paper to another journal without copyright consequences because the paper has never been published elsewhere since only the abstract was published in the proceedings. The Global Academic Institute does not copyright the proceedings, which means that authors are still free to do as they see fit with their papers.
Republishing a Presentation: Authors are free to publish their presentation elsewhere without permission from the Global Academic Institute because authors retain copyright ownership of their presentation. However, as a condition of participation in a Global Academic Institute conference, authors must give the Global Academic Institute the permission to publish their presentations in hard copy, online, or elsewhere.
Letter of Invitation (Acceptance): Within one week of receiving your proposal/abstract or full paper we will email to you an email notification of acceptance or rejection. If your paper is accepted, additional conference and registration-specific information will be proiveded.
Provided Technical Equipment: A microsoft compatible laptop, projector and a screen will be available in the conference rooms. You are expected to bring your presentation on a USB Flash Drive.
Poster Presentations: Please find the guidelines for poster presentations on the following here>
Attending Only: You may attend any track you want for one registration fee. Please indicate “attending only” on the registration form.
Dress Code: We do not have a dress code. However, smart casual is appreciated.
Cancelations: A full refund will be given for cancellations received 90 days prior to the conference. 50% of the conference fee will be refunded if notice of cancellation is received 30 days prior to the conference. No refund will be given for cancellations received 29 or fewer days prior to the conference. If cancellation notification is received from a presenter up to 29 days prior to the conference, a voice-over virtual presentation must be made by the presenter to help the conference program run smoothly. This will also allow the presenter to benefit from publication opportunities like a regular presenter does. The Global Academic Institute reserves the right to cancel a conference in case of a “Force Majeure” (such as act of public authorities, war, natural disaster, fire, flood, strike, terrorist attack and other circumstances which are beyond the control of the parties). In such case, the GAI will only be responsible for returning the attendee’s conference registration fees. Note: $50 administration fee is taken for any cancellation including visa refusal. If the payment is made via wire transfer, $20 wire transfer fee will also be deducted from the refunded amount.
Conference Fee Payment: The payment of the conference fee must be submitted on or before the registration deadline in order to take place in the conference program.
